AI Aspire (Andrew Ng / AI Fund)
Forward Deployed Engineer
Why it's interesting
When the founder of DeepLearning.AI starts hiring FDEs, the archetype has officially arrived. AI Aspire — Andrew Ng's enterprise-AI advisory arm, inside the AI Fund / DeepLearning.AI flywheel — is building its own forward-deployed bench: embed at enterprise clients for 1–3 week engagements to redesign workflows and ship LLM/agent solutions, then build internal tooling from Mountain View between gigs. The JD asks flat-out for Claude Code and Codex fluency. Advisory shop money ($180K–$200K) for the FDE playbook applied to AI transformation.
The role

Wants strong AI engineering plus hands-on use of AI-assisted dev tools including Claude Code and Codex, clear communication with business stakeholders, and willingness to travel 1–3 weeks at a time. On-site, Mountain View, CA. Verified live on AI Fund's own Lever careers page.
