Why it's interesting
A rare FDE seat inside a climate-risk insurer: you build pricing and decision engines, not customer demos. The $120K–$140K band is modest for a role that needs PRD-to-production Python and stats chops, so this is more internal data engineering than classic customer-facing FDE.
The role
Turn loosely defined problems from internal teams and partners into PRDs and working software at Arbol, a parametric climate-risk coverage platform. Build pricing and decision engines, data apps and AI-powered workflows; write SQL/Python for analyses and monitoring; integrate third-party models and data sources; harden prototypes into tested production systems. Remote.
