The role
Forward Deployed Security Engineer at Clearly AI, a YC-backed startup automating enterprise security and privacy reviews (threat models, privacy impact assessments, vendor risk). Owns end-to-end onboarding from signed contract to production adoption: integrating Clearly AI into enterprise systems (Jira, ServiceNow, Confluence, GitHub), configuring review workflows to each customer's security processes, running structured customer syncs, and translating deployment friction into shipped product improvements (logged in Linear). Explicitly not a CSM or quota-carrying role. Wants 2+ years in GRC/privacy/security engineering and fluency in security workflows (STRIDE, DPIA, TPRM, CVE). Customers include Rivian, Ericsson, HID Global, Affirm, Webflow, and Okta; backed by Y Combinator, Basis Set Ventures, Crosspoint Capital, and others ($8.4M seed).
