Why it's interesting
$255K–$351K — one of the top bands on the board this week — for a Staff/Principal FDE at DiDi's Silicon Valley lab, which works on AI security and intelligent-driving tech. A rare mobility/AV deployment seat, and a sign the FDE title has fully crossed from enterprise SaaS into hardware-adjacent autonomy.
The role
Senior forward-deployed seat at DiDi Labs (Mountain View), the US research arm focused on AI-based security and intelligent/autonomous driving. Staff/Principal-level engineer embedding to design and ship production systems with partners. Comp band $255K–$351K.
