Fluidstack
Forward Deployed Engineer
Why it's interesting
The company running Anthropic's $50B compute buildout pays $150K–$275K for an FDE who deploys inward, not outward — no customers, just their own gigawatt-scale stack. The clearest sign yet the title now means 'engineer with maximum autonomy.'
The role
Build Fluidstack's internal AI-integrated stack that compresses data-center delivery from the industry's 18–24 months to 6: supply-chain automation ('ordering 10,000 GPUs like opening a PR'), capacity forecasting, agent frameworks, and design-validation tooling. Requires hands-on LLM API and MCP experience plus deep fluency with Claude Code/Cursor. Flat org, no middle management, onsite in four cities. Not in the Plank census — sourced from a founder hiring post on X.
Applications go directly to the company. We curate; we don't broker.
