The role
Senior forward-deployed engineer on X-energy’s APEX platform team, bridging platform development and stakeholders across engineering, manufacturing, regulatory, and operations as the company pushes to become an ‘AI-first’ nuclear org. You architect and ship agentic AI workflows and full-stack tooling (React, TypeScript, Tailwind, Vite front end; AWS Lambda/ECS/DynamoDB back end; LangChain/LangGraph/Bedrock), drive enterprise adoption through training, office hours, demos and roadshows, own roadmap intake and prioritization, and integrate APEX with systems like Workday, Deltek, and Primavera P6. 3 days/week in office in Gaithersburg, MD; up to 5% travel.
