Why it's interesting
Proof the FDE motion is leaving software for the physical economy: ex-Samsara engineers pointing agentic AI at trucking back-offices — load coordination, dispatch, driver support — and already autonomously handling ~70% of tasks in production at major US fleets. The role
Own the technical side of enterprise sales as Hyperscale's first Forward Deployed Engineer: run technical discovery with carrier IT/ops, design POC configs mapping AI agents to TMS/ELD/dispatch workflows, travel on-site to fleets (~1–2 days/month, up to 25%), and support deployments through go-live. Blends pre- and post-sales; 2–5 yrs full-stack (APIs, webhooks, Python/SQL). Team of ex-Samsara engineers and fleet operators, product live with some of the largest US fleets, VC-backed.
